Call For Papers:
The 1st International Conference on Modern Communication & Computing Technologies - MCCT'14 is being organized by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic & Computer Systems Engineering, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah, Pakistan from 26th to 28th February, 2014. The conference targets at the innovative and novel aspects of technology and applications in the broader fields of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering. The conference aims to bring leading researchers, engineers, academicians & scientists in the domain of interest from around the world on one platform. In particular, it will facilitate a dialogue and discussion between participants to help create a road-map for the development of tangible research environment in Pakistan and especially in QUEST.
The conference program will consist of keynote speakers from both industry and academia and panel discussion. There will be opportunities to attend interactive, high quality, peer reviewed sessions which will provide detailed insights from forward thinkers working in the themes of the conference. Additionally, there will be an exhibition for both international and niche market to display their latest products and services and to undertake a range of networking opportunities.
Authors are invited to submit papers in all areas of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering domains. Papers should contain substantial ideas which have the potential of aiding inventions, theories, innovation, practices, design, modeling and implementation or a technological breakthrough for general and specialized use. The Conference proceeding will be published both online and in print. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in the HEC recognized journal. Work In Progress (WiP) Symposium:
The Work-in-Progress (WiP) session, included in MCCT'14 gives its participants an opportunity to present and discuss new challenges and visions based on emerging results and bring about novel research questions, approaches, and directions to the community. The researchers get feedback on thought provoking ideas useful for their future results directions. All selected papers in this session will be selected of Work in Progress (WIP) session for short presentation.

PhD Symposium:
1st International Conference on Modern Communication & Computing Technologies - MCCT'14 Doctoral Symposium will provide PhD students working in all areas of Computer, Electrical and Electronic with a opportunity to interact with renowned and experienced researchers in the field, and discuss with them about their ongoing research in their areas. The Doctoral Symposium also aims at establishing a collaborative worldwide community of doctoral students working on the subject, and promoting social and intellectual interactions among students and researchers from academia and industry. The PhD students are invited to send a short paper related to their ongoing research.

Call for Posters:
Authors from academia and industry are invited to submit posterfor the MCCT'14 Poster Session.The aim of the poster session is to share the innovative and novel aspects of technology and applications particularly in the broader fields of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering. The poster review committee will review all the submissions and inform the authors about the poster acceptance. The committee will also select the best posters during the poster presentation/display session based on the following criteria:
- Motivation & attention from the audience
- High scientific quality
- Clarity and simplicity
- No duplication
- Have a relationship to the theme of the conference
It is author's responsibility to print the poster and bring it to the conference for presentation/display. The conference organizer will provide only the display board/stand, gums and pins. The poster should be having width of 83. 82 cm and height of 114.3 cm (W*H= 2.75*3.75 Feet) and should contain Title, Authors' names, Affiliations, Email Addresses, Body (Abstract, Text, Figures, Graphs, etc.) and References.
NOTE: The best posters may be considered for publication in the HEC recognized journal with extension to the full length paper.
